Berkeley, California —16 March 2018— Fred Parnon, Co-Founder of Neota Logic, creators of the leading artificial intelligence (AI) platform for the automation of expertise, documents, and business processes, is scheduled to speak at this year’s BCLT/BTLJ Law & Tech Speaker Series: Coming Opportunities at the Intersection of AI and Law Practice on Thursday, March 22nd.

Artificial intelligence is destined to have a major impact on the future careers of today’s law students. Fred, will discuss opportunities for innovative use of AI in private practice, at legal aid agencies, in government, and in corporate law departments. Examples of AI applications currently being developed on the Neota Logic platform will be provided, as well as other examples of AI in law practice.

While the presentation will focus on the many exciting new opportunities to be made available by AI, the presentation will also touch on some of the potentially negative impacts of AI on the future practice of law.
