Neota is delighted to announce it has achieved ISO 27001

As a company, Neota has always been dedicated to ensuring data security and protection for our customers, and we are very proud to share that we have received the ISO 27001:2013 accreditation for our Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Achieving ISO 27001:2013 accreditation is an important milestone for Neota (and its customers). The comprehensive examination process touched every corner of our thriving global organization and in doing so, validated our commitment to the faithful stewardship of information across the company.

Howard Robinson, Chief Information Security Officer

What is ISO 27001?

Established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), 27001 is a framework to help organizations protect their information in a systematic and secure manner. The standard details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an ISMS.

Our journey to ISO 27001 certification

Over the past year, Neota has undergone a series of rigorous information security management audits to ensure that water-tight processes and practices are followed. Company-wide controls were designed, documented, tested and refined over a period of nine months. The controls were approved by the leadership team and staff undertook awareness training. An internal and external audit were conducted to assess Neota’s ISMS. We will continue to undergo regular surveillance audits to ensure compliance with the high standards required to hold an ISO 27001 certification.

So what does it mean for Neota and our customers?

Most importantly, this certification is a testament to Neota’s commitment to data security for our customers and company. Neota uses industry best practices to keep data and systems secure and provide our customers with ultimate peace of mind.

The ISMS is an important element of Neota’s overall approach to risk management, confidentiality, data protection and improving information security to ensure the ongoing safety and security of customer data.

Information and data security are of the utmost importance to Neota, and it is incredibly valuable for us as a business to have achieved our ISO 27001 accreditation to demonstrate our ongoing dedication to our customers.

We’re very pleased that we can provide this peace of mind – not only across our platform, but our entire business – knowing that we have successfully completed a rigorous audit of our Information Security Management System.

I am proud of the Neota team for their work and continuing commitment, especially as we will undergo ongoing assessments to ensure we maintain the high standards required to hold this certification.

Julian Uebergang, Chief Executive Officer
