Julian Uebergang to speak on LexisNexis Event panel: Smart Law – the evolving tech landscape

Neota Logic is thrilled to be part of the LexisNexis event series: Smart Law – the evolving tech landscape.

LexisNexis returns in 2016 with a panel series across Australia to address the impact of technology on the legal profession, how it is being impacted to alter the structure of legal work, and re-think traditional business models. Smart Law – the evolving legal tech landscape, is an event series with a selection of panelists who will discuss the changes and challenges faced by the legal profession, due to the evolving expectations of legal service delivery altered by legal technology.

Neota Logic’s Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region, Julian Uebergang, will be on the panel alongside Katie Miller from the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office, Lisa Leong from Herbert Smith Freehills, and Cameron Whittfield from PwC Legal. The group will be discussing:

  • Is today’s legal profession being altered by expectations of tech competency?
  • How is big data, analytics, eDiscovery, AI going to benefit the legal profession?
  • How will such technologies change the legal profession?
