Leiden University of Applied Sciences (UAS Leiden), technology consultants Transform Data International (TDI), and technology provider Neota Logic have joined forces to provide an important new hands-on dimension to legal education in The Netherlands.
UAS Leiden and TDI have been working together on the implementation of legal tech into the UAS Leiden law program. To add to the critical hands-on dimension to the program, the university and TDI have called upon Neota Logic, providers of the leading no-code platform for automation of expertise, processes, and documents. The Neota Logic platform provides legal professionals with tools to rapidly build digital solutions that automate many aspects of legal services.
Ilona van Opdorp, coordinator of the Legal Tech and Design Lab and lecturer at UAS Leiden, said, “During the past five years, legal tech has acquired an important place in legal higher education. We are grateful to Transform Data International and Neota Logic for instilling confidence in our team and our students to deliver this project.”
René Beulen, Business (IT) Consultant at TDI added, “We look forward to working together with Ilona van Opdorp, Gerdo Kuiper, Stacey van Voorbergen, and Tessa Lust. At Transform Data International, our added value lies in our knowledge of technology and the translation of functionalities into software. UAS Leiden has the legal knowledge and methodology to automate legislation and regulations. By combining our knowledge and skills with the technology of Neota Logic, we are able to deliver the innovation that has been needed in the legal sector for a long time.”
