Melbourne Law School’s Law Apps Awards Night 2019

This Wednesday 29 May, students from Melbourne Law School will compete in this semester’s Law Apps Awards Night at the law school.

At the Awards Night, students will showcase the work they have created in the Melbourne Law School subject ‘Law Apps’.  In the subject, students work alongside leading not-for-profit organisations to create legal applications designed to help promote access to justice.  This course is made possible with the support of law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and technology provider Neota Logic.

This semester, students groups have created applications for the following not-for-profit organisations:

Competing for the Herbert Smith Freehills Prize for Best Law App, Student groups will present their applications to the following panel of judges:

  • Alan Peckham, Chief Administrative Officer, Herbert Smith Freehills
  • John Lord, Group Chairman, Neota Logic
  • Professor Pip Nicholson, Dean, Melbourne Law School

The event will be live streamed on Facebook via Melbourne Law School on Wednesday 29 May 6-8pm (AEST).
