New York, NY —Michael Mills, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Neota Logic, is speaking at the 2017 Futures Conference “Running with the Machines: Artificial Intelligence in Law Practice,” organized by the College of Law Practice Management and Georgia State University School of Law this week.
Held October 26-27 in Atlanta, this interactive conference surveys the current state of artificial intelligence in law practice and presents a forecast of the future. Sessions also include ethical issues and potential regulation of AI. Mills will speak on the panel “Hype Vs. Reality: Is Everything AI Now?” with Chris Boyd of Wilson Sonsini and Andy Daws of Kim Technologies.
“AI in law is a flowing river in a shifting landscape. Charting a practical course is not easy. The College Futures Conference brings together people from law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, and technology to explore the territory and shape the future,” said Mills.
The College Law Practice Management was formed in 1994 to honor and recognize distinguished law practice management professionals, to set standards of achievement for others in the profession, and to fund and assist projects that enhance the highest quality of law practice management. The Futures Conference is held in conjunction with the College’s Annual Meeting and Induction Ceremony each fall. The conference is open to all law practice management professionals and takes an in-depth look at the future of law practice management.
